Hawthorn Community Backflow

The Hawthorn Community is required to have their individual backflows inspected, per the state and city, every two years. The Backflow makes sure that the potable (drinking) water does not mix with the irrigation reclaimed (toilet water). The Board found out that the backflows were last inspected in Fall of 2021. The Board had the backflows inspected at $35.00 each for a total of $6860.00 in August 2024. Out of 196 homes, 119 homes failed.
